Gary & Leslie Johnson have been in Christian ministry for two decades. Working with the Salvation Army for several years - striving to be the "hands of Jesus" - they count it a privilege to have ministered among the homeless, drug addicts, alcoholics, unwed mothers, inner-city youth and prisoners. They also helped Christian ex-offenders adjust to life after incarceration while Gary served as a volunteer chaplain to Parchman Penitentiary's "Death Row." And almost ten years of their lives was dedicated to meeting the needs of troubled adolescents as they became “mother” and “father” to countless children who had been abused and neglected.
